Today, Blantyre Victoria are delighted to confirm the first five signings for the 2019/20 season. Ahead of tomorrow's trip to Shotts, John Gibson has gotten the signatures of five of his top players as he looks to keep the core of his squad in Blantyre going into next season - which is hopefully in the Championship.
Dale Jones has now made 106 appearances in Vics colours and he will be looking to make many more as he has put pen to paper to stay in Blantyre for his fourth season at the club.
Keirin Coleman has also signed up for his fourth year at The Vics (despite his disappearance act at the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign). With four goals in his last three appearances - including his double at Gartcairn - he has proved to be an asset in Blantyre's midfield.
Craig Kerr was thrown into the deep-end at centre-half year but he has thrived in his new defensive role. He is looking forward to the challenges that next season brings - in Vics colours.
Fraser Allan arrived at the KG Stadium at just 17 years of age and he has impressed The Vics faithful more and more each year. Everyone at the club are delighted he is committed to Blantyre Vics for another year.
Ross McKechnie has always been an asset to John Gibson and has stuck with him throughout his tenure, and he isn't going anywhere as he has also signed up for another year.
