1970 Junior Cup Final
Blantyre Victoria 1 - 0 Penicuik Athletic
Tuesday 19th May 1970
A predominantly young team who weren't given much of a chance pretty much describes Blantyre Victoria's Scottish Junior Cup win in 1970.

After a rampant run to the final which showcased the likes of Kirkwood Lawson and Danny McGrain the Vics met Penicuik Athletic in the final at Hampden Park.

In this match Jim Lynn opened the scoring early on in the match but the Cuikie scored in the second to make it 1-1 and force a replay the following week. Jim Lynn was again on the scoresheet and this time there was no retaliation from Penicuik. The Vics were triumphant in the Scottish Junior Cup for the second time.
